IF YOU WANT THIS POST TO MAKE ANY SENSE, THEN START AT THE BOTTOM AND VIEW UP FROM THERE!!!!!!!! Editing photo order is a real pain on Blogger. :/

END HERE!!!!

When you leave Japan, this guy sees you off at the airport...

5000 Yen = $50

1000 Yen = $10

Pigeons on the bridge over the moat to Castle Fukuoka.

This is one of the statues from the Fukuoka Art Museum lobby before I read the sign in the galleries that said no flash photography...

This crow cawed right after I took this picture.

The Orange Gazebo.

It was about here that I seriously considered spending next year in Japan instead of Korea or America.

Demeter.

A Jean Miro painting reproduced in the subway near the Fukuoka Art Museum, where the actual painting is on display.

Some Sake with two grapes in it.

This guy has been on duty at the restaurant I got the pork-fried rice at both times I've been in Japan, too, so I took his picture this time. He seems like a really cool guy!

I've had this meal twice now, once each time I was in Japan. It's very tasty. There are vegetables and pork in the rice.

Sushi and beer - Shrimp, Salmon, and Eel.

They must've known I was coming...

The Rising Sun.

Tommy Lee Jones sells canned coffee, which is everywhere. Can't believe this guy was Al Gore's college roommate!

Japanese taxis outside of the airport.

Hey Jonathan. This is Linda, disguised as your Dad since I am using his ocmputer. Very cool. I enjoyed reading about your adventures and appreciated the details, especially about the people you've met along the way. So much of what stands out for me after I travel are those brief random encounters with strangers.

I'm not usually a big fan of scenery photos but you manage to capture the mood of the place and I really liked seeing the different tree shapes and roof lines. How about some from Korea?

Hope you find more free time to explore. I'm excited for you that you made this trip happen! SOunds like an awesome experience from the tidbits of stories I hear about. Take care! Linda

Thanks, Dad and Linda! Glad you like the pictures! Yeah, next time I get some time I intend to post a monstrous number of pictures from around Korea, so you can see that soon; it really is very different from the way Japan looked, although they are geographically close. Hope you can keep checking in, Linda!
